How do I check which version of Overture I'm running?
The version number sits in the footer of every page in the app. Include it in any support email so we can match what you're seeing to the exact build.
Where to look
The version number is in the footer of the Overture app — the strip at the very bottom of the page that says "Overture Run of Show Manager".
On the right side of that strip, you'll see a small monospaced label like:
v260529.05.212
What the number means
The version uses the format vYYMMDD.XX.ZZZZ:
- YYMMDD — the date the build was shipped (e.g. 260529 = May 29, 2026).
- XX — the build number for that day.
- ZZZZ — the running internal build counter.
Why we need it for support tickets
Overture ships fast — we sometimes deploy multiple builds in a single day. The exact version tells us which code you were running when something went wrong, so we can match the bug to the right commit and reproduce it.
What to include when you email support
- The version number from the footer (e.g.
v260529.05.212). - Your browser and OS (e.g. "Chrome 124 on macOS Sonoma").
- The event or session you were on when the issue happened.
- A screenshot if you can grab one.
Send all of that to [email protected].
