How to sign in and sign out of Overture
Every Overture session starts at app.overture.show. Here's how to sign in, sign out, and recover a forgotten password — including which email address each invite goes to.
Signing in
Open app.overture.show in any modern browser — Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox, Brave all work. Enter the email address your invite was sent to and your password, then click Sign in. You'll land on your home dashboard, which lists every event you have access to across every organization you belong to.
Which email do I use?
Use the same email address the invite arrived at. Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud, Proton — they all work as Overture accounts. If you were invited at [email protected], sign in with [email protected]. Aliases (the +tag forms) don't carry across; each Overture account is keyed to one exact address.
Staying signed in
Overture keeps you signed in for 30 days by default, per device. If you close the tab and come back the next morning, you're still signed in. If you switch laptops or use a private window, you'll sign in again.
Signing out
Click your avatar in the top-right of any page, then Sign out. You're returned to the sign-in page and any other tabs lose access on their next interaction. Sign out before handing a laptop to anyone outside your team — even Viewer access lets people see your event names and schedules.
Forgot your password
On the sign-in page, click Forgot password? under the password field. Enter your email and Overture sends a reset link valid for 60 minutes. The link signs you in once you set a new password — no separate sign-in step after.
If the reset email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder. Gmail sometimes routes Overture mail to Promotions on first contact. Whitelisting [email protected] in your mail client prevents repeat trips to the spam folder.
Locked out
Five failed password attempts within 10 minutes triggers a 15-minute cooldown on your account. Wait it out or use Forgot password? to reset and bypass. Contact [email protected] if you're still stuck.
