How to edit a row
Click any field in a row to edit it inline — Stage Leader, What, Main Screens, Video Wall, and Duration. Overture autosaves every keystroke. No Save button anywhere.
Every cell is editable
Each row in the run of show has six cells you can edit:
- Stage Leader — who is on stage or in charge of this minute.
- What — what's happening (free text, multi-line).
- Main Screens — what shows on the audience-facing screens.
- Video Wall — what shows on the video wall (hidden if the event has Video Wall turned off — see why).
- Duration — how long this row takes, in
mm:ss. - Follow-up pills — appear under the What cell when there are tasks attached.
How to edit
- Click directly on the cell you want to change. The cell expands into an editable input.
- Type or paste your changes. The What and Main Screens cells accept multi-line text — press Enter for a new line.
- Click anywhere outside the cell. Overture autosaves. You'll see the All saved indicator in the top right.
Duration is special
The Duration cell shows a timer like 0:20:00 (twenty minutes). Click it and type a new value in m:ss or mm:ss or hh:mm:ss. Common formats Overture accepts:
20→ 20 seconds20:00→ 20 minutes1:30:00→ 1 hour 30 minutes0→ valid (used for "DOORS OPEN" or other open-ended windows)
What edits do
Editing any field updates immediately for everyone on the event — the row is shared, not personal. If the producer changes the Stage Leader name, every crew member sees the update on their screen seconds later.
Changing the Duration cascades every row downstream — if you stretch a 20-minute keynote to 25 minutes, every later row in the session shifts back by 5 minutes automatically.
Who can edit rows
- Owners and Producers — always.
- Crew — only on sessions they're assigned to.
- Viewers — read only.
