How to edit a session's start time
Click the time at the top of a session and type a new one. Overture cascades every row inside that session forward or backward automatically, so a 15-minute delay doesn't mean re-typing every row.
The cascade is the whole point
Most run-of-show tools make you re-type every row when a session slips. Overture doesn't. Change the session start time at the top of the session, and every row beneath it shifts by exactly that amount.
Doors open 15 minutes late? Edit the start time once. Every row downstream — intro music, opening remarks, keynote, breakouts — all shift forward 15 minutes. No re-typing.
How to change the start time
- Open the event from the Dashboard.
- Click the session tab whose start time you want to change.
- At the top of the session grid, click the start time field.
- Type the new time. You can use:
9:00 AMor9:00 am09:00(24-hour)14:30or2:30 PM900— Overture infers 9:00 AM
- Press Enter or click away. Every row's start and end time updates instantly.
Editing row durations
Want to change how long a row takes? Click its duration column directly — that adjusts only that row and cascades the rest forward or backward from there. See How to edit a row.
Who can edit session times
