How brand logos appear on printed packets

When you print a session's run of show or export a packet PDF, Overture stamps the event or organization logo in the header of every page. Here's exactly where it lands, which logo wins, and how to tune it.

Where the logo lands

Every printed page of a session packet has a header band across the top. Overture places the brand logo in the top-left of that header, with the event name and session title to its right and the date / page number on the far right. The footer repeats the event name and adds a faint "Generated by Overture" credit line.

Event logo wins over organization logo

Overture follows a simple precedence:

The practical implication: for client work, upload the client's logo to the event so every printed copy looks branded for that client, regardless of which Overture org is producing.

Sizing and quality

The printed logo crop is roughly 180×60px at 150 DPI on letter / A4 paper. SVG renders perfectly at that size; high-res PNG (Overture's auto-resized 512px wide PNG) also looks great. JPG with a solid background is fine but won't blend into the cream header band as cleanly as a transparent PNG.

Pro tip

If your logo prints too small, double-check you haven't uploaded a thumbnail. The source file Overture auto-resizes is 512px wide — if your PNG was already 100px wide, that's all the resolution the printer gets. Upload the biggest version of the logo you have.

Black-and-white printing

Most production teams print run-of-show packets in black-and-white on cheap office paper — it's cheaper, faster, and Showtime is the place to make things look pretty. Overture doesn't convert your logo to grayscale at print time, so if your client's logo is a dark color on a light background, it'll look fine on a B/W print. White logos on transparent backgrounds will disappear — submit a darker variant for printed use.

The "Generated by Overture" credit

Every printed packet includes a small Generated by Overture line in the footer. This is part of the free tier; it's removable on paid plans. If you need it gone for a client deliverable today, contact support — we can help on a one-off basis while we ship the toggle.
