How to change your organization logo
Your organization logo is the default brand mark Overture uses anywhere an event hasn't set one of its own. It sits in the dashboard header your whole team sees every day, and it backstops every event PDF and Showtime view that ships without a per-event logo. One click on the Organization tab swaps it everywhere.
Open Settings
In the top bar, click your company name (the small pill that shows your organization name and logo — e.g. Demo, Inc.) to open its menu. The menu opens with your org name and role at the top and an Edit company info row underneath. Click it. That takes you to the Settings page.
Only Owners see “Edit company info”
If you click the company name pill and there's no Edit company info row, you're signed in as Administrator, Producer, Crew, or Viewer. The org logo is Owner-only — your Owner needs to make the change.
Replace the logo in the Organization card
The Settings page opens to the Organization card with fields for Name, Slug, and Organization logo. The logo control is a side-by-side pair: a dashed dropzone that reads Replace logo · PNG, JPG, or SVG · up to 2 MB on the left, and a square preview on the right showing the current logo. Click the dropzone and pick a new file, or drag a file from your desktop straight onto it. The preview on the right updates immediately.
Accepted formats:
- SVG — best of all. Stays razor-sharp at every size, from a tiny header crop to a 20-foot screen.
- PNG — best for logos with transparency.
- JPG — fine for photographic logos with a solid background.
- Max 2 MB — Overture auto-downscales PNG/JPG to 512px wide and re-encodes as PNG. Typical post-resize file: 30–80 KB.
Your logo, not the client's
The organization logo is your brand — the production company, agency, or department running shows in Overture. Use the per-event logo for the client's mark on a specific show. See change an event logo for that flow.
Save changes
Click Save changes directly under the Organization card. The new logo immediately replaces the old one in the dashboard header, on PDFs for any event without a logo of its own, and anywhere else Overture shows your org. No page refresh, no cache to bust.
Removing a logo
To clear the organization logo entirely, click the small × in the upper-right corner of the preview square, then Save changes. Your org will appear without a brand mark — events that have their own per-event logo continue using those.
Who can change the organization logo
Only the Owner of an organization can change the org logo. Administrators, Producers, Crew, and Viewers see the company-name pill but no Edit company info row, so the Settings page never opens for them. Producers can still change event logos from each event's Edit Event Details dialog. See Producer vs Crew vs Viewer for the full breakdown.
