How to download an invoice

Download a PDF copy of any Overture invoice from your Stripe billing portal — accessed through Settings → Billing → Manage billing.

Every Overture subscription charge generates an invoice that lives in your Stripe billing portal — that's the same place you go to update your card. Invoices are useful for expensing, accounting, or proving payment to a client. You can grab a PDF copy any time, no support ticket required.

Before you start

Steps

  1. Open Settings

Sign in at app.overture.show. Click your organization pill in the top-right corner, then choose Edit company info.

The Overture dashboard with the organization dropdown open in the top-right and an arrow pointing at Edit company info.
The org pill in the top bar is the path into your company Settings.
  2. Click Manage billing

Scroll down to the Billing card and click Manage billing. A new tab opens on Stripe's secure billing portal.

The Settings page scrolled to the Billing card, with an arrow pointing at the Manage billing button.
The Billing card sits just below your Organization settings — owners only.
  3. Find the invoice you want

Scroll to the bottom of the Stripe portal. Under Invoice history you'll see one row per invoice with the date, amount, status (Paid, Open, Failed), and product name. Click the row of the invoice you want to open.

The Stripe billing portal with an arrow pointing at an invoice row under Invoice history.
Each row in Invoice history is clickable — that opens the full invoice.
  4. Save the PDF

Clicking the row opens the invoice PDF directly in your browser — there is no separate download button. From the browser's built-in PDF viewer, use the Download or Save icon (usually in the top-right toolbar) to save the file to your computer, or print it to PDF. The file is the official invoice with your company name, billing address, line items, tax, and invoice number — exactly what your accountant or expense system needs.

What's on the invoice

Each Overture invoice shows your company name and billing address (whatever you entered on Stripe), the plan you're on (Basic, Pro, or Agency), the renewal term, the amount charged, any applicable tax, and a unique invoice number. The PDF is fine to submit to your finance team or upload into Expensify, QuickBooks, Xero, etc.

Common questions

The amount on my first invoice is $0.00 — is that right?

Yes. If you started with a free trial, the first invoice is generated when the trial converts and reflects the trial period (which was free). Your first paid invoice comes one full billing cycle later — for annual plans, that's a year after the trial ended. After that, you'll see the real renewal amount on every invoice.

Can I get an invoice for a specific date range?

Stripe shows one invoice per billing cycle, so for annual plans you get one invoice per year. We can't split a single charge across date ranges, but if your accounting team needs a custom statement, email [email protected] and we can pull one for you.

I need my company name or billing address changed on a past invoice.

Past invoices can't be edited — they're a permanent record of what was charged at the time. You can update your billing information for future invoices in the Stripe portal under Billing information → Update information. For corrections to a past invoice (e.g. a typo in your company name on a charge a finance team is rejecting), email [email protected] with the invoice number and we'll issue a credit memo or reissue as appropriate.

I want invoices auto-emailed to my finance team.

Stripe automatically emails every invoice and receipt to the address listed under Billing information → Email in the portal. If that should be your finance team's shared inbox (e.g. [email protected]) rather than your personal email, update it there. See How to change your billing email for the exact steps.

The PDF didn't open.

If clicking an invoice row does nothing, your browser may be blocking the popup or the PDF preview. Try right-clicking the row and choosing Open link in new tab, or try a different browser. Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge all work. If you're still stuck, email [email protected] and we'll send the PDF directly.

Still need help?

Email [email protected] from the address on your Overture account. Mention the invoice date or invoice number and we'll respond within one business day with a copy attached.
