How to log out of every device

Changing your password instantly invalidates every existing Overture session on every device — the fastest way to log out everywhere if a device was lost, stolen, or returned.

If your laptop was stolen, you handed your work computer back to IT, or you just want a clean slate, you can force-log-out every Overture session you have signed in anywhere. Here's the cleanest path.

The short version

Steps

  1. Sign in on a trusted device

On a computer or phone you're confident in (not the lost or compromised one), go to app.overture.show and sign in.

  2. Open your profile menu

Click your profile icon in the top-right corner and choose Change password.

  3. Set a new password

Enter your current password, then your new one (at least 12 characters with a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols). Submit.

  4. You're done

Every other device — the stolen laptop, the work phone you no longer have, the coffee-shop computer you forgot to sign out on — is now signed out. The next time someone opens Overture on those devices, they'll see the login screen with no session.

If you can't access your account at all

If your password was changed by someone else (you suspect account takeover), email [email protected] immediately. We'll lock the account, verify your identity through billing records, and reset access. If you have evidence of unauthorized access, also see Where to report a security issue.

What about my collaborators?

Changing your password only logs you out. Your teammates' sessions on the same event are completely independent — they stay signed in as themselves, with their own credentials.

Pre-empting the question: "is there a dedicated 'sign out everywhere' button?"

Not as a separate control, no — but the password change has exactly the same effect and is a healthy security habit anyway. If you'd like a dedicated "sign out everywhere" button (without rotating your password), email [email protected] and let us know — we track feature requests and prioritize on demand.
